A Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (CHWTSDF) offers several key advantages for managing industrial waste. It facilitates more efficient waste management by minimizing the environmental pollution load from hazardous waste. Compliance with statutory regulatory norms ensures that waste management practices are more effective and streamlined. The common facility also makes waste handling economically viable and simplifies recovery and reuse processes. Additionally, it reduces the cost of environmental monitoring and minimizes environmental liability through captive storage. Finally, CHWTSDF enhances occupational health and safety at both the individual and industry levels.
